Q1. Is there any negative marking in CUET?
There will be negative marking for wrong answers in the test which will be computer-based and will have multiple choice questions (MCQ format).

Q2. How is CUET exam conducted?
The exam is conducted in a computer-based mode for two hours. Originally CUCET was conducted by UGC in paper-pencil based mode. Last year onwards, NTA is conducting the test in a computer-based mode.

As per DU2022-23 admission policy, CUET is mandatory
Q5. Is calculator allowed in CUET?
No
Candidates are NOT allowed to carry Instruments, Geometry or Pencil box, Handbag, Purse, any kind of Paper/ Stationery/ Textual material (printed or written material), Eatables and Water (loose or packed), Mobile Phone/ Earphone/ Microphone/ Pager, Calculator, DocuPen, Slide Rules, Log Tables, Camera, Tape Recorder, Electronic Watches with facilities of calculator, any metallic item or electronic gadgets/ devices in the Examination Hall/Room
Q6. Is CUET difficult?
The difficulty level of CUET (revamped CUCET) Exam for Undergraduate courses will be of of the level of “Easy to Moderate” type. I cannot give the exact figures of cutoff marks for courses but it can be said that almost in each course cutoff for General Category goes upto the 45% - 50% of the total marks. For the preparation of CUCET exam, just read the NCERT books of concerned subjects.
Q7. Is CUET online or Offline?
CUET 2022 will be conducted in an online mode this year, earlier, the exam was offline.

Q10. Is CUET and CUCET same?
CUET is a revamped version of CUCET and it's now compulsory for all 45 central universities to adopt it. For more clarity, the Central University Common Entrance Test, CUCET 2022 has been renamed as Common University Entrance Test, CUET 2022. All universities under UGC (Central Universities) will now follow CUET for both undergraduate and postgraduate admissions.
